Kawasaki Motors Corp., U.S.A. has determined that a product safety hazard may exist on select FX801V, FX850V, and FX1000V general purpose engine models with the 21066-0785 voltage regulator. There is a possibility that the voltage regulator will fail prematurely. This failure may result in high temperatures within the voltage regulator and increase the risk of fire.
An Important Recall Notice is currently available for engines from the Eligible Engine Table. Please contact your local authorized Kawasaki Engines Dealer to discuss corrective measures that will be done under warranty for your engine(s).
